Lightning Talks
Call for Submissions
New for EduCHI 2026, our Lightning Talk track is designed for rapid-fire, engaging presentations on topics relevant to the HCI/UX education community. This track particularly welcomes contributions from industry professionals and non-academic educators to quickly share emerging work and spark dialogue with the community.
A successful Lightning Talk should focus on one of the following:
- Briefly describing a successful or proven pedagogical strategy (e.g., actionable insights or best practices).
- Showing an in-progress project or initiative (e.g., tentative plans or preliminary findings).
- Sharing a new, untested idea or critical provocation (for possible future work and discussion).
- Presenting an opportunity for collaborative work in an area related to HCI and UX education.
Submit your lightning talk via the EduCHI 2026 submission site: educhi2026.hotcrp.com
Please note that accepted lightning talks will not be archived in the ACM Digital Library.
